The cupcake was originally built on a stock Razor 24 volt electric two wheeled scooter, supplemented with a wooden base and solid rubber outrigger caster wheels. Recent modifications include upgrading to run a 36 volt brushless hub motor, powered by a 20 Ah LiFePO4 battery. The cupcake tin is hand bent 30ga galvanized sheet metal, and the top is made of chicken wire and drip irrigation tubing, covered in batting and faux fur fabric. The hat has a candle made of rainbow craft foam.
